Christmas lights blazing

11 Jan, 2012 02:47 PM
There’s nothing like a colourful array of blinking lights to bring in the festive season.

Karen Atkins of Morethia Close got into the Christmas spirit and won a $200 hardware gift voucher for the best lit up house.

Judging committee spokesperson Tony Weir said other worthy mentions were Peter Coonves of Anna Court and Jack Hallett of Irrapatana Street.

He said the judging was not just based on how impressive the lights were, but also how much time and effort went into the decorations, especially if they were made by the residents themselves.
