 Strong Year for St Barbara’s

Strong Year for St Barbara’s

11 Jan, 2012 02:49 PM
2011 has been a busy and productive year for St Barbara’s Parish School.

Principal Bernadette Lacey described the school as being very stable with no staff movement throughout the year.

“We began the year with some wonderful new teachers and it has been a delight to watch them grow and develop as good classroom practitioners,” Ms Lacey said.

In 2011 St Barbara’s implemented The Leader In Me, a program based on the 7 Habits of highly effective people.

“We have introduced the 7 Habits to the students and have seen an increase in students taking personal responsibility searching for the leader within.

“Students gain self-confidence and skills needed for the 21st Century and we are proud to be the first school in South Australia to implement the program.”
