Grant sought for outback cottages

23 Feb, 2012 10:22 AM
Outback communities can apply for a share of the second round of the 2011/12 Outback Grants Program which closes on Friday March 2.

The grants are available to incorporated bodies with an Australian Business Number operating within the OCA’s jurisdiction, and administered by the Outback Communities Authority (OCA) to help fund community projects aimed at improving the quality of life for those living in remote areas.

OCA chair Bill McIntosh said round one of the program released in September 2011 was well subscribed with nine applications received and supported by the OCA.
