 Noisy neighbours be warned

Noisy neighbours be warned

19 Jan, 2012 10:26 AM
Roxby Downs Police have advised a common sense approach to holding a party after some rowdy affairs during the holiday break.

Senior constable first class Darren Mackenzie said: “people should talk to their neighbours before throwing a party and ensure that there are no issues arising from loud noises, bright lights, and surprises”.

That is the sensible thing to do – working out the options with one’s neighbours, however people suffer from “mind lapses” with regards to being considerate, observed senior constable Mazkenzie.

Loud parties were prevalent during the summer months coinciding with the festive season in which a time of cheer could turn sour with loud parties causing bad relations in town.

“People should be mindful that this is a working town,” said senior constable MacKenzie.
