Valda Inglis School of Dance students have settled in to the new venue at the auditorium.
On January 21 The Roxby Downs Sun reported the school had worked with the leisure centre to secure the much-needed venue.
Mrs Inglis said since that article there has been an influx of extra students almost doubling last year’s intake.
About 110 students have signed up for the school.
“The venue is much better for dance, mainly the floor aspect and the extra space, the students are quite noticeably more focused having the extra space and more like a dance studio should be,” Mrs Inglis said.
Last year students rehearsed in a classroom on carpeted floors, which were not ideal for learning ballet.
