A number of traffic infringement notices were issued to drivers who exceeded the speed limit and three fines were also issued to people for not wearing their seatbelts.
Drivers are reminded of the five causes of fatal road crashes: speeding, no seatbelts, inattention, fatigue and drink/drug driving.

On Wednesday, October 21, police received a report that a vehicle had collided with a street sign on Pioneer Drive. Further investigations led to the arrest of a Roxby Downs man, 40, who was charged with failing to take due care, driving under the influence of alcohol and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle. The vehicle involved was clamped for seven days.
On Thursday, October 22 police were called to Roxby Downs Tavern where a group of people were alleged to be fighting, but they had left the area when police arrived.
