The Roxby Downs Volleyball Association kicked off the season Monday night with a round robin match.
Experienced and debut players were divided into teams of six and continued playing “first to five” matches throughout the night.
The night was designed to give old and new players a chance to see what the competition is like and have fun while doing it.
Captains were asked to nominate their teams and new players had a chance to sign up.
A captains meeting will be held on February 11 to discuss rules and suggestions for the season.
Volleyball is a fun exciting sport played on Monday nights in the auditorium and all members of the public are invited to give it a go.
The official season starts on February 15.
